Police investigate active threats against journalist following Coolock protests

Gardaí are investigating active threats to the safety of a journalist following her coverage of court appearances of people involved in the Coolock anti-immigration protests.

The journalist has been subjected to threats and abuse online and has had to seek help from the police. She was then threatened and had private information about her published online.
