UK Parliamentary Inquiry Report on Sanctions Against Countries Supporting Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine

The UK House of Commons Library has published a Investigation report on the UK, US and EU response to third countries providing direct support to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The report notes that while no sanctions have been imposed on countries for continuing to trade with Russia, the United States and its allies have increasingly targeted countries and organizations that allegedly help Russia wage war in Ukraine or evade sanctions. The Library specifically highlights Belarus, Iran, North Korea and China, and provides an analysis of the sanctions imposed against them by the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union.
