Barcelona make official offer to RB Leipzig and Spanish star Dani Olmo

Barcelona have reportedly made a huge offer to Dani Olmo in a bid to sign the RB Leipzig and Spain star this summer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have offered him a six-year contract and are willing to pay his €60 million release clause.

Olmo’s release clause is set to expire shortly, but the report claims Barcelona have managed to negotiate an extension for a few more weeks.

The Spanish star is now willing to consider the deal as he contemplates a move away from the Bundesliga side.

Barcelona are said to have offered a deal with a salary increasing after the first two seasons, similar to that offered to Robert Lewandowski and Nico Williams.

Olmo also has offers from Manchester City, Bayern, Liverpool and Manchester United as he plans his next move.

The striker has previously said he would love to return to Barcelona and has also recently admitted he has told his agents what he wants to do next.

It remains to be seen how Barcelona plan to finance the signing of Olmo, as well as that of Nico Williams, the club’s main target.

There has been talk that Barcelona might be willing to sell a “big name” player to fund a deal for Olmo, but there has been no mention of who that might be or whether a transfer is realistic this summer.
