NSS announces six-month volunteer recruitment for post-national service graduates and youth

The National Service System (NSS) has announced that it will soon begin recruiting National Service graduates and unemployed youth to serve as volunteers for six months.

According to the plan, the decision was taken considering the numerous requests received from young people, as it was aimed at addressing the problem of youth unemployment in the country.

In a statement issued on Thursday, July 18, the NSS said: “Recruitment will focus on various patterns including sanitation, education, agriculture, health and other sectors aligned with the Government’s efforts to promote environmental health, cleanliness and sustainable development.”

“An online application system will soon be operational on the program website to facilitate the selection process. We encourage you to disseminate information about this opportunity among potential candidates in your region or district and provide the necessary guidance and support throughout the application process.”
