Manchester United have confirmed the signing of young French centre-back Lenny Yoro from Lille after beating Real Madrid.

The 18-year-old becomes the 14th Frenchman to wear the Red Devils jersey.

The club has seen some great French footballers pass through Old Trafford, including Eric Cantona and Fabien Barthez.

The ‘King’ joined Manchester United in 1992 from Leeds United. He scored 81 goals and provided 62 assists in 182 games and won a total of 11 trophies. He helped usher in the club’s dominance in the Premier League in the 1990s.
