Jamaican reggae superstar Burning Spear to perform in Zimbabwe

Jamaican reggae maestro Winston ‘Burning Spear’ Rodney and the Burning Band will perform for the first time at the Glamis Arena in Harare, Zimbabwe on October 18, 2024 as part of the “One People Tour of Africa”.

The music maestro confirmed the upcoming tour in a promotional video posted on social media.

“On October 18, 2024, in Zimbabwe, myself, Burning Spear and Burning Band will be there playing, playing… we will be there,” Rodney said.

Before the reggae icon comes to Harare, he will first perform at Uhuru Park in Nairobi, Kenya on October 12.

After Nairobi, he will head to Harare for the highly anticipated reggae juggling show on October 18, tickets for which are already on sale. Those booking advance tickets will be charged $25, regular tickets $40 and VIP tickets $50.

Burning Spear will then move on to South Africa, where they have two shows scheduled, one at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg on October 19, and in Cape Town on October 20 at Mhudi Wines Farm for another performance.

Local reggae lovers are in for a real treat as the Jamaican superstar promises a vibrant show.
