Fargo South High School students evacuated after bomb threat (KFGO News reporter Don Haney)

FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo Public Schools has closed classes at South High School for the day after a bomb threat was called in this morning. The high school was evacuated around noon and the building was searched.

A Fargo police spokesman said officers completed their search at 1:10 p.m. and found no explosives. The threat is under investigation.

This is the second bomb threat at South High School this week. The school was locked down for about three hours on Wednesday, the first day of the school year.


FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo South High School has been evacuated following a bomb threat.

Spokesperson AnnMarie Campbell says the school is following procedures and is urging parents to stay away from the school.

This follows a similar threat on Wednesday, when Fargo South High was placed on lockdown for about three hours.

Walmart was evacuated on Thursday due to a similar threat.
