Nikki Glaser Takes On Aaron Rodgers With Savage Nickname on ‘Thursday Night Football’

Comedian Nikki Glaser Appeared on Prime Video’s Thursday Evening Football postgame show, following her headline-generating jokes at Netflix’s Tom Brady roast earlier this year. And while no one was safe from Glaser’s stabbing, she saved her most vicious material for New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers following the team’s win over the New England Patriots.

“It was New York versus Boston, a real city battle where you can get stabbed in a parade,” the 40-year-old joked during the segment titled “Late Hits with Nikki Glaser,” adding that “Met Life Stadium was packed with 82,000 of New Jersey’s most single dads.”

“The Jets really needed a win tonight, because the Jets are a lot like Bruce Springsteen,” Glaser continued. “They’re based in New Jersey, and they’ve been making grown men cry for the last four decades. And they were playing their bitter rivals, the New England Patriots—the Patriots, the only thing Ben Affleck can commit to.”

The FBoy Island The host also paid tribute to new Patriots coach Jerod Mayo, noting that it “must be tough for Bill Belichick to watch his ex-coach hit a rebound off a handsome black man.”

Glaser then turned her attention to Rodgers, who is back on the field after an Achilles injury sidelined him for the entirety of last season.

“Now the Jets have a new quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, or as I like to call him, Throw Rogan,” she joked. “It’s ironic that he goes to silent retreats, because he can’t stop talking about it. But he’s fun, you know, he lives in New York, he’s always doing his buddies’ podcast, he looks like a guy who buys beer for teenagers. Honestly, I’m shocked I even dated him.”

“And I’m not even kidding about this, but remember when we thought this guy was going to be the host? Danger!?” Glaser added, regarding Rodgers’ brief stint as host in 2021.

Ultimately, Glaser concluded her criticism by noting that the Jets may have scored more points in the 3-24 game, but that “it was actually the Patriots who won, because they got to leave New Jersey.”
