Slipknot is bringing its Knotfest music festival back to its home state of Iowa for a one-time anniversary event. The all-day music festival in Des Moines features more than 10 performances at Water Works Park.

There will also be plenty of Slipknot-themed activities throughout the weekend. Whether you’re visiting the Slipknot Museum or getting a bottle of whiskey signed by the artists themselves, here’s what you need to know about Knotfest in Des Moines.

When is Knotfest Iowa 2024?

Knotfest Iowa 2024 will take place on September 21 at Water Works Park in Des Moines.

How can I get tickets for Knotfest Iowa 2024?

Tickets are available through the Knotfest website and start at $99.50 for general admission. VIP tickets and tour and hotel packages are also available online.

How can I visit the Slipknot Museum?

The Slipknot Museum is an immersive exhibit showcasing the history of Slipknot, including instruments, memorabilia, wardrobes and more. The museum will be open during two ticket windows on September 21st: 12-4pm and 4-8pm.

Tickets are $25 through Sept. 20 and $40 on Sept. 21, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The museum is located on the festival grounds and requires an additional ticket, which can be purchased at www.universe.com/events.

Slipknot to Host Special Experiences at The Slaughterhouse and The Haunt on Friday

Slipknot is offering two events on Friday in preparation for Knotfest. They’re taking over The Slaughterhouse in downtown Des Moines for a haunted house experience featuring their own memorabilia and decor. Fans will be guided through the haunted house by a band member.

You can also visit the speakeasy at The Haunt to hear an intimate recounting of Clown’s travel stories, with stories specifically focused on their 1999 album. A Q&A session will follow.

Meet Slipknot at Fareway

If you can’t make it to Knotfest, head over to the Pleasant Hill Fareway on Thursday, September 19th from 5-7pm and meet the band members themselves.

The group will be promoting their exclusive No. 9 whisky and inviting customers to purchase a bottle and have it signed.

Meet Slipknot at Wall to Wall Wine and Spirits

Members of Slipknot can also be found at Wall to Wall Wine and Spirits in West Des Moines on Friday, September 20th from 1-3pm. The group will be signing more No. 9 whiskey.
