Does Graeter make Skyline Chili Ice Cream?

CINCINNATI — Are two key Cincinnati players working together? If Kroger’s website means anything, it just might be!

A search on Kroger’s website shows a potential “Graeter’s Skyline Chili Ice Cream Pint” selling for $7.

“A bold blend of flavors in a Cincy chili-flavored ice cream: the creamy ice cream is infused with warm chili spices. Interspersed throughout are crispy oyster crackers and chunks of cheese that provide a spicy contrast to the sweet treat. This unconventional combination offers a bold, adventurous taste experience that combines spicy ice cream with crunchy elements in every bite,” the website says.

Bold and unconventional are certainly the words we would use. But can we actually try this ‘bold, adventurous taste experience’?

Although the listing is there, Kroger’s website shows the ice cream is not available. Neither Graeter’s nor Skyline have details about the potential collaboration on their websites or in stores.

This wouldn’t be the first time Graeter’s has collaborated with another hometown brand. They teamed up with Braxton Brewing Co. worked on a Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout and Key Lime Pie Ale. But those flavors aren’t as shocking as this one – and it seems like a lot of people might not be into it.

“President Trump and I will stop this,” Tri-State native and vice presidential candidate JD Vance said on X (formerly Twitter) in response to the news.

WCPO is reaching out to Graeter’s and Skyline to obtain any information possible regarding this potential collaboration.
