Malachi Corley’s goal-line fall negates first NFL TD in colossal Jets blunder

That’s a rookie mistake that will stick with Malachi Corley.

The freshman receiver from Western Kentucky dropped the ball just as he entered the end zone on what would have been a 19-yard touchdown run on a reverse.

It was ruled a fumble and the Texans took over early in the second quarter in a scoreless game.

He was only active when Allen Lazard was out due to a chest injury.

This would have been by far the biggest play of the third round as a Jet.

Instead, it was another Jet blunder in a season full of undisciplined mistakes.
