Walmart InHome delivery now in Ohio, plus half off Walmart+ membership

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Walmart just announced that InHome delivery has been expanded to Ohio for new and existing Walmart Plus customers. New Walmart+ shoppers get a 30-day free trial. After the trial period is over, the delivery add-on will be available at the regular rate for $7 per month or $40 per year.

During the busy holidays, InHome’s delivery service provides great convenience. While standard delivery of Walmart+ packages takes place outside your home, InHome delivery sends an associate to make the delivery. The associate drops off at the customer’s desired location, such as the porch, near the garage or in the home, Walmart says.

With permission, the employee uses a one-time access code to unlock a customer’s door or garage. An employee wears a camera on his or her vest, which records the entire delivery. The video will be available in the customer’s Walmart account for up to a week after each delivery, Walmart says.

More InHome Delivery benefits include free 24/7 access to veterinary experts from your phone with Pawp and savings at Burger King, where you get 25% off every day and a free Whopper with every purchase every three months, Walmart says.

The expansion of the InHome delivery service will include an additional 13 million eligible U.S. households, including people living in Ohio, Walmart says. The Greater Cleveland area has access to InHome delivery, delivering fresh groceries, essentials and last-minute holiday products straight to your door.

Sign up for Walmart’s deal of half off Walmart+ memberships before December 2. Walmart shoppers can get the deal – $49 annual Walmart+ membership (originally $98) online now.

Membership also lets you unlock early access to Black Friday deals, delivery, free shipping, gas discounts and more.
