Halsey recalls the “demoralizing” moment Exec looked at their nude photos

Halsey has revealed a disturbing incident she experienced with a ‘powerful’ music manager that resulted in her privacy being breached.

“I was away and I was with this director, like this really powerful director who works in music in some capacity. It was very festive and there was a lot of industry talk,” Halsey told “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper. “I didn’t have a strange feeling about it at all. I never felt unsafe or anything.”

Halsey had taken a photo with the director, who asked if he could use her phone to send the image to himself with the intention of sharing it with his niece. When Halsey left to use the bathroom, the principal had access to their unlocked phone, and when she returned, the principal was scrolling through photos of her naked body.

“I saw him scrolling through my nude photos on my phone,” they recalled. “I was just frozen…I didn’t even know what to do. I thought, ‘Did I just imagine that? Was that an accident?’ I thought, ‘Did the phone scroll up? What the hell happened?’”

Halsey added that she feared the director had sent the nudes to his phone. “Did he send them to himself and then delete the messages? I don’t even know where these are now.”

The awkward moment also served as a reality check for Halsey. The singer, who recently released their fifth studio album, “The Great Impersonator,” said she went into that experience feeling like “one of the big players” and left it feeling like “nothing.”

“And when that happened, at that moment I thought, ‘You’re nothing. You are nothing. You will always be nothing, they said. “You’re still just that damn girl who gets taken advantage of, or like men talk about you behind your back, or you’re some kind of collateral.” I thought, ‘You’re nothing.’ It was so demoralizing.”
