Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, but it’s not what you expect

Diwali has given Bollywood lovers a cinematic dhamaka, with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 hitting theaters and teaming up with the powerful Singham Again. As Kartik Aaryan reprized his role as the quirky Rooh Baba, and legends Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri joined the party, the audience came in expecting ghosts, giggles and a plot as twisty as a jalebi. But what did they not see coming? A parody cameo so daring that it had everyone reaching for their popcorn refills – a hilarious take on none other than Shah Rukh Khan’s vigilante from Jawan.

While Singham Again flexed its Bollywood muscle with a buffet of star-studded cameos (with Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff and Salman Khan walking in like they were late for a wedding), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 played its trump card differently. In a scene that had audience members doing a double take, Kartik’s Rooh Baba takes on a lookalike of SRK’s connected, vengeful Jawan anti-hero. The moment wasn’t just a nod; it was a complete wink, complete with slow-motion struts and SRK’s signature one-liner, but with a comic twist.
