When does early voting end in Ohio?

According to the Ohio Secretary of State’s voting schedule, early voting in Ohio ends on Sunday, November 3.

When will polls open in Ohio for early voting?

Early voting polling stations are open from:

  • Thursday October 31: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm
  • Friday November 1: 7:30 am to 7:30 pm
  • Saturday November 2: 8am to 4pm
  • Sunday November 3: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Early in-person ballots can be cast at your county elections board. Finding your polling place in Ohio is a fairly simple process through the Secretary of State’s website.

No. The deadline for Ohio to register to vote in the November election was October 7.

What kind of ID do I need to vote in Ohio?

Ohio requires voters to present a valid photo ID to vote. Valid IDs include:

  • Ohio driver’s license
  • Ohio State ID Card
  • Interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV
  • An American passport
  • A US passport card
  • US military ID card
  • Ohio National Guard ID card
  • U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs ID card

All photo IDs must contain the following:

  • An expiration date that has not yet passed
  • A photo of the voter
  • The name of the voter, which must largely correspond to the name of the voter as it appears in the voting list or in the voting book

An unexpired Ohio driver’s license, identification card, or interim documentation showing your previous address is an acceptable form of identification if your current address is in the poll book.
