Brooklyn captured the Grammy-nominated femcee’s look perfectly, capturing every detail from the video.

At the start of the clip, Brooklyn was seen wearing a red fur coat, which she opened to reveal an adult matching red bodysuit decorated with cutouts. Brooklyn completed her chic look with a vibrant red wig, oversized sunglasses and icy chains, perfectly channeling Kim’s spirit from the legendary image.

As the video continued, the 8-year-old showed off several other colorful outfits inspired by the music video, including a playful green wig paired with a long-sleeved lace top and a statement dark blue wig with oversized blue fur. The whole family joined in, dancing and enjoying the festive atmosphere. Jaxson stepped into the role of Lil’ Cease, while big sister London played Aaliyah. With siblings Madison (23), Logan (21), London (11), Jaxson (10) and almost three-year-old Peyton all participating.

The video was meant to be an innocent tribute to creativity and family fun, but social media users raised an eyebrow at the post because they felt Brooklyn’s costume was “inappropriate” and “shocking.”

One user wrote;

“You guys didn’t think this was appropriate at all.”

Another naysayer noted that seeing the adorable 8-year-old reciting Kim’s raunchy lyrics from the hit made them uncomfortable. Some wondered why Gia didn’t step in to portray the famous rap star.

“It is highly inappropriate for a child to wear a costume and make her sing those suggestive lyrics.”

However, the video received some praise, with Cardi B commenting on the parents’ unique Halloween costume idea and Brooklyn’s performance.

“She took the assignment very seriously, SHE EAT THAT!!!” ‘, said the rapper.

Envy answered back;

“@iamcardib Man…. She was practicing… Now she wants to rap!!!”

Another supporter wrote;

“I think it’s great, yes. I have taught my babies everything there is to know about hip hop culture. Kim is an icon and an entertainer. People take themselves way too seriously.”

DJ Envy ignored naysayers and posted more Halloween content

It seems like Envy and Gia are unfazed by the criticism. The radio host and his wife even shared two more videos from their Halloween party.

One clip featured their daughter London, who delivered a stunning imitation of Aaliyah’s “One In A Million” music video. In another clip, Envy was captured playfully scaring his family while dressed in a Black Panther costume.

What do you think? Was little Brooklyn’s costume inappropriate or are people making a big deal out of it?
