Florida-Georgia: What You Need to Know

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – EverBank Stadium and the Florida-Georgia game will once again take center stage on the college football landscape Saturday as the Gators and Bulldogs face off on ABC at 3:30 p.m.

  • Parking spaces open at 8 a.m. (Map)
  • Gates opened at 1:30 PM Fans can enter EACH fence.
  • SEC nation is headed to Jacksonville. The show will be broadcast live from Lot P outside EverBank Stadium.
  • Don’t wait until the gate: For faster and more efficient access to the gate, fans should be ready by adding their mobile tickets to their digital wallets. This will significantly reduce the problems of entering the stadium.
  • Fans are encouraged to arrive and enter the stadium early, gates open at 1:30 p.m. Fans may enter EverBank Stadium through any gate, regardless of seat assignment.
  • The kick-off is at 3:30 PM

General information

EverBank Stadium officials will conduct clear bag inspections and metal detectors will be set up at each entrance. Officials have the authority to inspect clothing and other items. In addition, there is a strict clear bag policy. See below for more information.

Gates open at 1:30 PM and there is a strict no re-entry policy in place.

There will be two JTA Cooling Buses at the stadium, located across from Ramp 1 and at the bottom of Ramp 4, along with water stations near both buses for fans to use during the game.

Cooling stations with water will be available throughout the site. One factory-sealed bottle of water of 16.9 oz or less is permitted per guest.

Information about parking and ride sharing
The car parks open at 8am and are expected to be full five hours before kick-off.

Guests using rideshare after the game should meet their driver on Beaver Street, near Lot Z.


For the quickest and most convenient route, guests are encouraged to exit EverBank Stadium via Gate 1 or The Gallagher West Club Gate. Follow the pink signs. Plan accordingly and be patient as post-event ride drivers navigate traffic to arrive at Beaver St.


Prior to the event, the rideshare drop-off will take place on the west side of the stadium, near the Veterans Memorial Wall.

PARKING TICKET





SEC Nation in Jacksonville
SEC Nation will broadcast live from Lot P outside EverBank Stadium on Saturday morning at 9am. Florida graduate Laura Rutledge will host the show for her eighth season, her ninth on the show overall, joined by Gator great Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum, Jordan Rodgers and Roman Harper.

Gator walk
The Florida football team is expected to arrive at Gate 1 of EverBank Stadium on Saturday. Fans are welcome to line up no later than 1:10 PM to cheer on the Gators when they arrive at the stadium.

Information about tailgating
The City of Jacksonville will enforce its municipal code regarding underage drinking and the prohibition of alcoholic beverages on the city’s sidewalks and streets. Tailgating is permitted in the parking lots and areas surrounding the stadium, but once you leave the vicinity of your vehicle, the City of Jacksonville Police Department will enforce strict compliance with the ordinance.


Fans are reminded that the state of Florida prohibits opening containers in cars during tailgating, except in locked glove compartments or locked trunks. The police will strictly enforce this law.

Sideline safety zone and guest service locations
The Information and First Aid Areas are guest service locations produced by the City of Jacksonville and UF Health to provide an area where residents, students and visitors enjoying downtown Jacksonville before, during and after the Florida-Georgia game day festivities can find assistance . This includes basic medical assistance, first aid, information on transportation services, directions, water and more.



Punishment-free safe zone
The Information and First Aid Areas are intended to make everyone’s Florida-Georgia experience as pleasant and safe as possible. Fans who request assistance in the Zone for themselves or their friends will not be subject to legal action for alcohol problems.



Locations
The information and first aid areas presented by UF Health Jacksonville are located in the following locations:

  • Lot P – Veterans Memorial Wall (1145 E Adams Street)
  • Lot X – Service Road entrance, south of Gator Bowl Blvd., eastbound.
  • Lot P – Babe Ruth Statue (corner of Georgia St. and Duval St.)
  • Across from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, on the corner of A. Philip Randolph and Duval Street
  • Lot E – outside RV City (corner of Talleyrand & Gator Bowl Blvd.)

All information and first aid areas are open from 12:00 noon until 30 minutes after the match.

Bag policy and prohibited items
Clear pockets

In the interest of fan safety, EverBank Stadium has a clear bag policy in accordance with SEC and NFL policies. Fans are reminded that EverBank Stadium’s policy is the same as what the UAA has implemented at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Other prohibited items

  • All bags excluding a clutch, wallet or clear bag measuring 4.5″ x 6.5″ or smaller, not exceeding 12″ x 6″ x 12″
  • Cameras with detachable lenses or lenses longer than six inches
  • Clothing with profane or obscene language/content
  • Coolers or containers, including cans or cups
  • Bottles and beverages from outside the stadium (except 1 factory-sealed plastic water bottle of 16.9 oz or less per ticket holder)
  • Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Inflatable boats, loungers and other flotation devices
  • Knives, guns and all types of weapons (including real weapons, toys or replicas) or explosives
  • Laser pointers
  • Laptop computers
  • Noisemakers, whistles and air horns
  • Non-lethal weapons and chemical agents (such as pepper spray, batons and tasers)
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Seat cushions
  • Signs or banners larger than 2′ x 3′
  • Sticks or poles (including selfie sticks)
  • Strollers or baby car seats
  • Tobacco products (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, chewing tobacco)
  • Umbrellas
  • Video equipment and tape recorders
  • Flying drones is strictly prohibited above and around EverBank Stadium during the game.

Mobile tickets

To improve security, reduce the risk of ticket fraud and increase convenience for fans, all Florida Gators Athletic tickets are valid mobile and can be completed through the Florida Gators app or by visiting FloridaGators.com/myaccount.

  • Download the Florida Gators app (App Store | Google Pay).
  • Don’t wait until the gate: For faster, more efficient access to the gate, log in to your ticket account and add your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay account. This will significantly reduce the problems when entering the stadium. (Learn how)
  • Screenshots of tickets are not accepted.

For fans in need of assistance, the ticket box opens at noon – three and a half hours before kick-off – and is located on the north side of the stadium, near Gate 2.

This year’s Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Luncheon, presented by Miller Electric Company, will allow fans to take center stage as Florida highlights Mike Peterson and Fred Weary are inducted into the Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame. The Gators Great duo is joined this year by Georgia’s Mike Fisher and Bill Goldberg.
