Where is Martha Stewart’s daughter Alexis now?

Martha Stewart had a complicated relationship with her daughter Alexis, but now everything seems fine. The Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia mogul and her daughter have been open about their unconventional parenting style and it seems to be bringing them closer together.

Alexis was born on September 27, 1965 in New York City to Martha and Andrew Stewart. Martha and Alexis have been very vocal about how dysfunctional her childhood was when her mother was in the spotlight. “I think we did a bad job as parents,” Andrew told People. “We were too involved in our professional lives and renovating the house. We always made the house a mythological place. But it wasn’t a home; we didn’t spend enough time with Lexi.

“Feelings, we didn’t talk about those things,” Alexis said on Netflix Marta. “That wasn’t part of us growing up. We were loved in a stupid way when we needed to be loved. I mean, there wasn’t much affection in our house. She even remembered a strange time during the holidays. “She always let me wrap my own presents,” she wrote. “She handed me things right before Christmas and said, ‘Now pack these, but don’t look inside.'”

Where is Martha Stewart’s daughter Alexis now?

Alexis currently lives in New York City after she and her mother purchased a duplex unit on the Upper West Side for $12.3 million. They live in the Belnord, a block-long luxury residential building used for exterior shots of the Arconia Apartments in Hulu’s comedy-mystery series Only murders in the building.

She has two children, a daughter Jude and a son Truman, both of whom she welcomed through surrogacy. Martha was thrilled when she heard the news that she would be a grandmother and that she had always supported her through her fertility problems. She also supports her daughter’s decision not to include them in her Netflix documentary. ‘It’s not even talked about. And so are these grandchildren absolutely fantastic,” she told the New York Times. “My daughter was very against the children being involved. But I could have talked about it, and I did. I’ve taken them to the most unusual places in the world, and they’re only twelve and thirteen.”

Alexis married attorney John Cuti in an intimate ceremony in New York City. They divorced in 2004, not long after he represented her mother in the 2003 lawsuit. From 2005 to 2010, Alexis hosted Whatever is going on with Alexis and Jenniferalongside Jennifer Hutt on SiriusXM’s Martha Stewart Living Radio channel. She and Hutt also wrote Whatever country: learn to live here. “Martha does everything better! You can’t win,” she wrote per People. “If I didn’t do something perfectly, I had to do it again. I grew up with a glue gun pointed at my head.”

Now, however, Alexis seems to be closer to her mother than ever. “We are incredibly close and we are both very opinionated people,” she said on Today. “So while we can have a good time together, we can also have an animated discussion about something. Because that’s normal. So if we agree on everything, how boring would that be?”
