Observations from the Detroit Lions’ Week 10 win over the Houston Texans

Stripes: The Lions won their seventh straight game, tying the franchise single-season record. They have also won five straight on the road, setting a new single-season record. Detroit is now 8-2 in primetime games under head coach Dan Campbell. After playing four of their last five games on the road, including tough matches in Minnesota, Green Bay and Houston, the Lions get four of their next five in the friendly confines of Ford Field, starting Sunday against Jacksonville (2-8 ).

Good company: Running back Jahmyr Gibbs recorded 71 rushing yards and 37 receiving yards against the Texans, for a total of 108 scrimmage yards. He joined Barry Sanders (1993) as the only players in franchise history to record 70 or more scrimmage yards in each of the first nine games of a season.
